This Photographer Was In His Own World.
In His Element. Just like you and I get when we are doing our photo thing. He might have just looked like another photographer to some, but I felt his tune. And he was in it.
This was taken the same evening that Julianne Bradford and I did a sunset shoot in Oceanside, California last month. This male photographer was speaking a foreign language but we shared the same universal language of the joy of photography. Tomorrow I will show you what he was taking photos of, because I was waiting in line to do the same. As soon as he moved over, I moved in! Lol...

Pom, I really like this creative interpretation of that day and its mood. I think a LOT of people will be checking this one out. Fingers crossed that the judges will be among them...Laura E. Swan October 21, 2014
Thank you so much Mare. Your support and feedback mean so much to me. I love how defined he is and how semi abstract the rest turned out. I hope the judges like it as much as we do. HeeHee. :))) Night night and thank you again. -Pommy #11164158Ann Coates October 21, 2014 1

Another wonderful creation, Ms Laura - love the colors and how you detached him from the extraneous elements surrounding him - permitting him to fully be in the "zone" where nothing is more paramount than what is being viewed thru the lens....guess all I'm saying is I like your symbolism here. :) Very cool, LOTW, very cool! #11164670Terry Cervi October 21, 2014

Hi, MSSSLala. Have I really not seen this image before? Maybe on Fb. Anyway - I love what you did to this scene. No doubt about the focus of attention, and one can still see all the action behind him. He really does seem lost in his own world. Congratulations on a fantastic finalist!!! <3 :) #11741744Laura E.
