Incredibly crisp! I like it very much:) #356241Patricia A. Cale January 31, 2004
Thanks, Alisha. It's crisp because we have had temperatures in the single digits and below zero this week here in Illinois. Today was the first day that was near 20 degrees - almost a heat wave! #356256Anette Linnea Rasmussen January 31, 2004
Nice Image, Pat! #356281Carol Brill January 31, 2004
Marvelous how you caught the texture and sparkle of the snow so well here, Pat, wonderful sharp detail and composition, too! #356315Patricia A. Cale January 31, 2004
Anette & Carol: Thank you so much.Carol, the sun was at the right angle and was still on the bright side. That helped make the sparkles. Also, I had to do a trade-off on getting the leaves properly exposed and letting the snow go dark, or overexpose the shot to get white snow, which also lost the detail and brought out bright hotspots on the leaves. I liked this one best out of the two I shot. #356316
